Acid picking line is one of the important procedures in cold rolling steelstrip production technology, the aims of acid pickling are to remove the ferricoxide existing in steel strip surface, adjust weight of each coil, shear off chappededge to obtain qualified raw material for the next coming cold rolling process.According to different technique, acid pickling can be sorted into push-pulland continuous modes.
Push-Pull Shallow Trough Turbulence AcidPickling Line
The push-pull pickling line is to undertake each steel coil picklingseparately without welding, start up with push the steel strips and then pull.Usually this kind of pickling technology is suitable for those lines with annualcapacity lower than 600,000 ton, however our company adopts advanced shallow troughturbulence push-pull technology and the annual capacity could be up to1,000,000 ton. With the advantages of smaller location, less investment, moresimple equipment, more convenient operation, easier maintenance and well-adaptedfor various type of steel strip, our acid pickling line is well suitable forsmall and middle-sized cold rolling plants.
Technical Parameters:
Production capacity: 200,000- 600,000tons annually (depend on the needs of customer, Max. annual capacity is1,000,000 tons at present)
Raw material: hot rolling carbonstructure steel, high quality carbon structure steel and low alloy steel coil,silicon steel;
Thickness of steel strip: 1.5-5.5mm
Width of steel strip: 700-1,350mm (whenless than 600mm, semi-continuous method will be adopted);
Processing speed: 30-180m/min (dependon the needs of output)
Coil weight: Max. 25tons

Continuous Acid Pickling Line
For continuous acid pickling line, the headand rear parts of two different coils shall be welded together, both entry andexit of process sections are equipped with accumulators to guarantee acontinuous operation. Generally when the annual capacity exceeds 700,000 tons,continuous picking line will be adopted.
