For the strict straightness requirement from the annealed plates, tensionleveling process is indispensable of complete straightness steel plateproduction. After passing through tension leveler and being leveled, steelstrips could obtain better shapes. And the yield point elongation could beeliminated and mechanical property could be improved. Therefore, tension levelercan complete the rectification of the 3-dimensional shape defects (edge waveshape and middle buckling); also obviously improve the mechanical property ofsteel strips. The main types of tension levelers include single-bend single-rectifying,double-bend double-rectifying and as well as double-bend single -rectifying,etc, which shall be selected according to the production processes and materialvarieties.

Process Flow

Coil loading trolley → pay off reel → pinch roller → shearer → welder → entrytension roller → tension leveler → exit tension roller → inspection platform →shearer → steering roller → recoiler → coil unloading trolley
