On January 20, 2026, the first coil of products was successfully rolled off the production line of the 580,000-ton 0.5-3.0X1300mm galvanizing line designed and constructed by Beijing JJRS Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JJRS") for Fangchenggang Rongtai Metal Products Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fangchenggang Rongtai").
The successful commissioning of this project is attributed to the high attention and full support from the leadership of Rongding Group. Both parties worked together with a strong sense of unity, overcame difficulties, and with a deep and harmonious cooperation, not only ensured the start-up of the production line but also laid a solid foundation for its subsequent efficient and stable operation.
This galvanizing line is deeply integrated with JJRS's independently developed comprehensive waste heat recovery system, which can reduce the use of steam (or electricity) for drying and heating, effectively save energy, improve the efficiency of heat energy utilization, and lower production and operation costs.
In addition, this production line is equipped with a flexible dual gas source switching function for coke oven gas and natural gas. The direct-fired section adopts a centralized heat exchange heating method with low-oxidation burners, while the reduction section uses a two-stage air heat exchange and flue gas recirculation burner heating method. This enhances the energy adaptability and operational stability of the production line, providing solid technical support for customers to cope with market fluctuations and optimize energy costs.
Furthermore, this unit is a key component of the "1.5 million tons of high-quality cold-rolled steel per year project" of Fangchenggang Rongtai. The "1.5 million tons of high-quality cold-rolled steel per year project" of Fangchenggang Rongtai is a key expansion project of Rongding Group's galvanized steel strip production, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan and an area of 300 mu. It includes multiple production lines such as acid continuous rolling and galvanizing. After full completion, it is expected to produce 300,000 tons of cold-rolled steel coils and 1.2 million tons of galvanized steel coils annually, with an annual output value of up to 6 billion yuan.
